Wedding Ceremonies

Although Autumn Life is our name, we also enjoy the springtime of life when love is in the air. If a wedding is on your calendar and you’re looking for a pastor to help plan your special day and officiate at your ceremony, we would be honored to come alongside and be a friend.

To help your marriage get off to a great start, we schedule three 90-minute pre-marital sessions. During the first meeting, we take time to get acquainted and to find out what you love about each other that makes you want to spend the rest of your lives together. The last half of this session focuses on a unique perspective that we believe is vital to helping you have the best marriage possible.

A relationship between a husband and wife has many different facets. That’s why during our second session we discuss areas such as, “Ideas on handling your finances”, “Keys to disagreeing agreeably”, and “How you can have a great sex life”. Chances are that you’ll look at these areas differently than you ever have because our emphasis is on practical ideas that we wish we knew before we said, “I do.”

Making your wedding day as special as the love you have for each other is our goal for our last session. You’ll be given a variety of sample services from which you can select ideas for your ceremony, in addition to other things you may wish to use.

To help your wedding go as smoothly as possible, we also schedule a 90-minute rehearsal, during which we go through the ceremony twice. The first time, we guide the participants step by step, so that everyone knows what they are to do. By then practicing the ceremony a second time, we have found that the bridal party is much more comfortable when it comes to the wedding itself.
